Bement, Cecil M.
Age 84, of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on February 26, 1940 in Millerton, PA to the late Maurice and Irene Bement. Cecil was predeceased by wives, Priscilla and Christine and siblings, Marcene Streeter, Marilyn Ferger, Vera Jean Reynolds and Robert Bement. He is survived by his children, Donna (Tim) Hicks, Lesley Bement and Terry Bement; brother, Ronald Bement; grandchildren, Robert (Amanda) Shaw, Thomas (Akiko) Leopard and Brandi Cummings; 5 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Cecil was a proud veteran of the US Army. Services for Cecil will take place at a later date. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Dialysis Unit at the AOMC and also to his ICU nurses, Courtney and Dakota. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
